What we do now.

I learned a lot from the first two. What NOT to do especially. I am still no expert by any means, but I learned early on you don't have to be. You just have to show up and give a damn. Now I can't keep track of the number of dogs we've seen. There have been new kennels built, an unknown number of toys and blankets shredded, more tears, and lots of dogs. My hope with this blog is to raise awareness. I want people to understand what a big problem animal homelessness is and how in some small way you might be able to help out. Not everyone can foster, but there ARE things you can do. I will try to get better about asking for help and posting small things you can do that will directly affect an animal in need. These animals can't speak for themselves. They can't tell me their stories, their backgrounds and how they ended up homeless. What I can do is make sure they are loved. I can't save them all, but I can sure try!
